(12-oz.) can lite evaporated skimmed milk

cup sugar
  • 1 In food processor bowl with metal blade or blender container, combine berries and 1/4 cup of the milk; process until pureed. Add sugar; process until well mixed. Add remaining milk; process until sugar is dissolved.
  • 2 Place mixture in ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturer´s directions for 15 to 20 minutes.

Expert Tips

Don't Wash berries before refrigerating them. Instead, turn berries onto paper towels and discard any that are soft or spoiled. Return the good berries to supermarket cartons or place them in paper towel-lined baskets. Cover the baskets loosely with a paper towel and plastic wrap. Refrigerate for up to two days. Wash berries just before using them. to wash blackberries and raspberries, place them in a colander, then gently immerse it in a bowl of cold water. Turn out the berries onto paper towels to dry. To wash blueberries and strawberries, rinse under a gentle spray of cool water. Pat them dry with paper towels. Hull strawberries.
