can (15 oz) Italian-style tomato sauce

package (7 oz) small pasta shells (2 cups)

tablespoons finely chopped onion

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (3 oz)
  • 1 In 8-inch skillet, mix tomato sauce, water, pasta and onion. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 Sprinkle cheese over top. Cover; cook 1 minute longer or until cheese is melted.

My kids loved this meal. It was super easy to fix and they scarfed it down. I did add 1 pound of browned ground turkey for some protein. It turned out very well. I love how you only need 1 pot to make this. Limits the dirty cookware!
