Three-Cheese and Bacon Spread

This sweet and savory spread is terrific on apples, pears, celery or other fruits and vegetables. Look for reduced-fat whole wheat or whole-grain crackers to serve with it.

oz (half 8-oz package) fat-free cream cheese, softened

cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

tablespoons fat-free (skim) milk

teaspoon paprika
Dash pepper

cup raisins

tablespoons real bacon bits

medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)

whole-grain crackers

large red apple, sliced
  • 1 In small bowl, beat cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, paprika and pepper with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  • 2 Stir in raisins, bacon bits and onions until well blended.
  • 3 Serve spread with crackers and apple slices.
