Expert Tips

Depending on the variety, sherry—a fortified wine native to Spain—ranges in color, flavor and sweetness. Dry sherries are lighter in color, milder in flavor and less sweet than those labeled "cream."

At first I thought this dish was a little strange, as the rice and veggies were quite mushy and the turkey was dry. But thought of it as a healthy alternative to turkey and stuffing, it was quite good.
