cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

cup sugar

teaspoons ground cinnamon

cup shortening

cup Yoplait® fat-free plain yogurt or sour cream

teaspoon baking soda

teaspoon baking powder

cup egg subsittute or2 eggs
  • 1 Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom and side(s) of 9-inch round pan or 8-inch square pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray; lightly flour.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until particles are size of small peas; reserve 1/3 cup.
  • 3 Stir remaining ingredients into flour mixture with spoon until well blended. Pour into pan. Sprinkle reserved flour mixture over batter.
  • 4 Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cool.
