Chipotle chiles, barbeque sauce and chili powder offer the smoke in a quick bran-enhanced cornbread. From eatbetteramerica.

makes:9 servings
1cup Fiber One® original bran cereal
1cup cornmeal
1cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
2teaspoons baking powder
1teaspoon baking soda
1teaspoon salt
1teaspoon chili powder
1 1/4cups buttermilk
1/4cup barbecue sauce
2tablespoons finely chopped canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (from 7-oz can)
2tablespoons vegetable oil
1egg
1.Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
2.In large bowl, stir together cereal, cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chili powder; set aside. In medium bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Stir into cereal mixture. Pour into pan.
3.Bake 25 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Smokey Chipotle Cornbread
I like mexican cornbread so will cook this one and see. If I like it better guess what. . .I'll switch and let you all know after Christmas. . .the reason for this season!
