Expert Tips

“This is a quick-prep, on-the-go salad I easily make at home and take with me—and it helps me stay on my heart-healthy routine.” Kevin W.

Phytonutrients are the beneficial substances naturally occurring in plant foods that help strengthen our bodies’ defenses against heart disease. About 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half, can be used instead of the roma tomatoes in this recipe, or try the cute little grape tomatoes.
