Healthified Crunchy Asian Salad
I just love this salad, and it really is delicious! I add dried cranberries, dates, ginger and raisins.

Love it! I like a salad with some crunch to it and this one definitely does. I made this for a family dinner and it was a big hit. The only change I made was to use a can of mandarine oranges instead of fresh oranges that would have to be peeled and cut up. Very, very tasty salad that does not absorb the dressing when there are leftovers.

Awesome!!
My husband and I absolutely LOVED this recipe!!! Like a few others recommended, I swapped oranges for mandarins to avoid the hassle. I only used one can, but I think two may have been better. I also cooked chicken breasts in a pressure cooker until they were so soft they shredded on their own and added them to the salad after it they cooled. We had the salad for dinner and then ended up eating all the rest the very next day! I will definitely be making this recipe the next time I go to a potluck event. Thanks for the healthified recipe!

Great!
This was delicious! I added a few ingredients to the dressing, it might have made it not as healthy, but it sure made it burst with flavor. I added 2 T. of all natural creamy peanut butter and 4 generous T. of sesame oil. I will definitely make this recipe again!

Very Good
This recipe was made for a Gourmet Club meeting last month. The theme was Spring Fling with an Asian Flair. Did add use 4 cups of spinach and l large can mandarin oranges. Big hit with everyone!!!
Last weekend I made the salad for a birthday party for a diabetic. I changed the dressing to 2/3 c. sesame oil, 2/3 cup rice vinegar, 4 1/2 tablespoons Splenda, and salt and pepper as on recipe. I used 1 1/2 pkgs ramen noodles, 1 cup toasted sliced almonds, l large red pepper, 2 large cans of mandarin oranges and 6 oz pkg of baby spinach. (Did not use all of the dressing.)
Everyone, including the men, really liked the salad and had several requests for the recipe.
Will make this again and again...

Very good!
We really liked this and it also made great leftovers! It was an easy, light summer dish. The only modifications I made were to use EVOO instead of Canola oil and I used a Broccoli slaw mix instead of a traditional slaw mix and added a bit of red cabbage. As another reveiwer said, I also, used canned mandarin oranges. It was delicious!

Great Salad!
My family thought this was a great salad and I am bringing to our next big family event. I like how it is low in points and so filling. I followed the others and put in mandarin oranges and honey roasted peanuts. Thanks for this healthified recipe!

Yummy
I love this salad, only 2 pts for 2/3's of a cup. I make it every week to have on hand in case i am feeling hungry, I just go for this. I make it minus the madiran oranges because i don't do fruit, and it still turns out great.

yummy!
Worth the trip to the grocery store! I was a little nervous mixing it up...it kind of looked like I might not even try it. Boy was I wrong! This was a super tasty treat. I added a can of chicken and used the honey roasted nuts as a variation. My husband said that we needed to save this recipe and put it in our "favorites" file. (The kids were not as kind, but they are picky :(). The leftovers were surprisingly good the next day too. Thanks for the great recipe. I will make this one again.

Crunchy Asian Salad
This was great. I used the sesame oil. Also to reduce calories I left the ramen noodles and nuts on the side for individuals to add on their own. They don't get soggy this way. Family friendly everyone loved this.

Love It
We have made this salad for a few eyars in my family. We always add chicken (perdue short cuts). We also use 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (in place of the rice vinegar) and add the seasoning packets form the ramen noodles to the dressing. It is VERY yummy! And like others we always get asked for the recipe.

Wonderful
I have taken this salad to a number of pot lucks and get asked for the recipe EVERY time. It is wonderful, light, and full of flavor. I also add a touch of sesame oil to increase the asian flavor. What a hit!

Fantastic
Had a much more complicated version of this from a different site with an incredibly long ingredient list. This one blew it away!!! This tasted so much better and was a snap to put together. My grocery store only had seasoned rice vinegar so I'm not sure what plain rice vinegar would have tasted like. The dressing was light and the perfect amount, the salad was not swimming in it. Husband is allergic to nuts so left out the almonds and just added a tablespoon to my serving. This is really a great recipe and would make a wonderful side for any type of grilled dish.
