2
slices bacon
1
turkey breast tenderloin (3/4 to 1 lb)
1
tablespoon olive or canola oil
1
teaspoon dried sage leaves
1/2
teaspoon garlic pepper
1/4
teaspoon salt
  • 1 Heat closed medium-size contact grill for 5 to 10 minutes. Place bacon in grill. Close grill. Grill 2 to 3 minutes or until brown but not crisp. Drain on paper towels just until cool enough to handle.
  • 2 Cut turkey tenderloin crosswise into 4 pieces. Brush both sides of each piece with oil; sprinkle with sage, garlic pepper and salt. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each turkey piece; secure with toothpick. (Fold or press together the end piece to resemble round piece.)
  • 3 Place turkey on grill. Close grill. Grill 7 to 9 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink in center.

Expert Tips

Turkey and other poultry should be stored in the coldest part of your refrigerator as soon as you get it home from the grocery store. Be sure to use it by the “sell-by” date, as poultry tends to lose its freshness fast.
