92% less fat • 73% less sodium than the original recipe—see the comparison. If fast food or frozen chicken nuggets are your go-to food for busy nights, switch to this feel-good version. They only take 30 minutes total and are amazingly low in fat and calories!
Prep Time:20 min
Start to Finish:30 min
makes:4 servings
1cup crushed Wheaties® cereal
1teaspoon paprika
1/2teaspoon garlic powder
1/2teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1/8teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1egg white
1pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1.Preheat oven to 450°F. In a resealable plastic bag, combine crushed cereal, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and, if desired, cayenne pepper. In a small bowl, beat egg white with a fork.
2.Dip chicken pieces into egg white, allowing excess to drip off. Add chicken pieces, a few at a time, to cereal mixture in bag; shake to coat well.
3.Place chicken pieces in a single layer in an ungreased shallow baking pan. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink (170°F).

Great recipe!
My husband and I love this. So quick, so easy, so good! P.S. I have allergic to Wheat/Gluten so I substitute Corn Flakes for Wheaties :)

Crispy Baked Chicken Nuggets
My boyfriend has joined in on my healthy eating since we live together and I do most of the cooking. For over a week now he's been craving chicken nuggets from McDonalds but has been resisting the temptation. So I found this recipe and decided to surprise him, I even made some sweet potato fries. He loved it and even had seconds. Thank you.

Love love love this one!
I loved the taste of the crispy breading made by the wheaties. I added a little coriander just because I love that flavor, and substituted tilapia instead of chicken because we had a chicken dish last night. Same cook time, but I did use butter flavored Pam to coat the cookie sheet, a guilt free option. Husband described dinner and spectacular! How many times have you gotten that response from a low cal dinner night? ;-)

Good!
This was a very good recipe. We used corn flakes instead of Wheaties, but will try Panko crumbs next time. Otherwise, it had very good flavor!

my friend and i came up with something like this but we used the sour cream and onions baked lays instead. it came out really good and added a little more flavor. It might be a little more calories then this one though.
