"Healthified" Cream Cheese Brownies

"Healthified" Cream Cheese Brownies
Recipe Tip
What is "Healthified"?
We've replaced ingredients with great-tasting alternatives to create better-for-you recipes that are just as yummy as the original.
Time-Saver
To quickly soften the cream cheese, remove wrapper and place in microwavable bowl. Microwave on High for 10 to 15 seconds.
Did You Know?
Miniature chocolate chips are a great substitute for regular chips. Because they're so small, you can use less but have just as much chocolate flavor.
Special Touch
For mocha brownies, stir in 1 teaspoon instant espresso or coffee granules with the brownie mix.
50% less fat • 50% less sat fat • 23% fewer calories than the original recipe—see the comparison. Rich and gooey just got a makeover for a treat that tastes as decadent as the original but has a lot less fat. From eatbetteramerica.

Delicious!
These brownies are appealing in so many ways! Not only am I getting tons of chocolate (and I love chocolate), but I also love the crunch associated with the chips. Plus, we already use lite cream cheese anyways so it is easy for us to love this recipe! I would most certainly make it again!

Yum!!
I made these brownies twice and both times, they turned out great! I baked them for 30 minutes the first time and they were cake-like...27 minutes and they were fudgy, just the way I like them! My sister and I both thought these were delicious, especially warmed in the microwave for about 10 seconds before devouring!! =)

For Halloween
These were pretty darn good. I colored the cream cheese orange for a Halloween treat. I especially liked the crunch added by the chips.

Cures chocolate craving!
I assisted my 13-year-old daughter in making these. We used BC's low fat brownie mix and fat free cream cheese. Everyone who ate them said they were delicious. No one could taste they were "healthified". My daughter wants to become a pastry chef. Therefore, I recently started her a dessert recipe book. She insisted I print out a second copy of this recipe for her book. This is one recipe we'll be making over and over again.

Delicious!
Instead of the 1/3 cup of sugar I used packets of stevia to cut down on the calories even more!

These brownies were delicious and so easy to make. I love to bake and take treats to the office. Everyone is always on a diet so when the ladies found out these were healthified, they really enjoyed them. Yummy!

Absolutely delicious!
This recipe for Cream Cheese Brownies was easy to follow and came out just as described. The brownies are moist and tasty. I used canola oil. I don't think that anyone would notice a difference. As a matter of fact, my husband said that I didn't need to tell him that they were reduced fat! The brownies are cake-like, and the cream cheese layer has cheesecake consistency. This recipe is a definate keeper!
