Recipe Tip
Pass the Peas
Peas supply chromium, a mineral we need in small amounts. Preliminary research suggests that people with diabetes may need a bit more chromium than others.

I've been looking for a way to spice up peas other than just adding mushrooms and this was amazing! It's the only way we eat peas in my house now.

I've been having a terrible time getting my son to like eating healthy (not smothered in cheese) greens. This recipe is a hit, he likes it and so does everyone else! I replaced the olive oil with Marsala wine, and the salt with Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herbs for a low-sodium alternative. Enjoy!
