Roasted red peppers pack this no-cook sauce with flavor that is delicately mellowed with fresh basil. From Prevention Healthy Cooking.
Prep Time:10 min
Start to Finish:20 min
makes:4 servings
12oz uncooked angel hair pasta
2jars (7 oz each) roasted red peppers, drained
1tablespoon olive oil
2tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1teaspoon sugar
1/2teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese (1 oz)
1.Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
2.Meanwhile, in food processor or blender, combine roasted peppers, oil, basil, sugar, salt and black pepper. Process until smooth.
3.Place pasta in serving bowl. Add roasted pepper sauce; toss to coat. Top with cheese.

very good
the sauce was very tasty! i used whole wheat angel hair making it even more nutritious! i also sprinkled some red pepper flakes on top with the parmesan cheese which gave it a little kick. the only thing i would change, is less pasta. 12 oz uncooked makes WAY too much for only 4 servings and it spread the sauce a little thin. will definately make this again! oh & the photo pictured with the recipe is NOT what it looks like, there is no broccoli or other veggies etc in this recipe

This was Great!
This is a quick and easy pasta sauce. It was extremely tasty and I will be making it a lot.
