Crunchy Trail Mix Bars

Crunchy Trail Mix Bars
Recipe Tip
Nuts about Nuts
Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats from nuts may help lower blood cholesterol. But fats are high in calories so keep portions small.
Special Touch
If you plan to take these to a gathering, cut them into bars and place on a plate hiding in your cupboard that you want to recycle. You won't need to carry the plate home when you ask your host to "pass it on."

These Crunch Trail Mix Bars were very tasty and not too sweet. I added more Cheerios and less trail mix, so the nutritional info is probably off, but the taste was very good. I love the crunch.
