Healthified Decadent Hot Chocolate

Healthified Decadent Hot Chocolate
Recipe Tip
What is "Healthified"?
We've replaced ingredients with great-tasting alternatives to create better-for-you recipes that are just as yummy as the originals.
Did You Know?
Unsweetened cocoa is the secret to the rich chocolate flavor in this healthier version. And the fat-free half-and-half provides texture and richness without adding any fat.
Substitution
You can easily substitute 1 1/2 ounces of chopped bittersweet or dark chocolate for the chocolate chips.
Special Touch
Serve the hot chocolate with cinnamon or peppermint sticks for stirring. Or make this cocoa extra indulgent by drizzling caramel ice cream topping on the inside of each cup before adding the hot chocolate.

Nothing Better!
There's just nothing better than decadant hot chocolate on a cold winter night. This stuff is so rich and satisfying, not to mention easy to make. It's going to be my new go-to hot chocolate recipe.

Hot Chocolate
A better recipe I have found is 1 tablespoon Splenda 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa 2 tablespoons dried milk powder 8 ounces skim milk Dash salt Blend Splenda, unsweetened cocoa, dried milk powder and salt in a large mug, blend in milk stirring until dissolved. Microwave 1 minute on high or until hot. Can also heat in a saucepan on the stove. Thought I would share this since it is eating healthy and this is less sugar. :)

Great!
Great hot chocolate. My kids inhaled it! I substituted 3 packets of Splenda for the sugar and it tasted delicious. Will make again!
