Double-Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Double-Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Recipe Tip
Oats to You
Oats are loaded with fiber--the soluble kind that helps to lower blood cholesterol. Start slowly so you have time to get used to more fiber!
Did You Know?
Quick-cooking and old-fashioned rolled oats work equally well in this recipe. Quick-cooking oats are simply old-fashioned oats that have been ground to a finer texture. Use the old-fashioned oats if you prefer chewier cookies.

Good Cookie
This was a hearty cookie. Not too sweet but hits the chocolate spot. I love that they have whole wheat flour and oats. Definitely will make these again!

Not too bad
When I made these cookies, the edges crumbled off, but the inside was nice and moist. The crunch and chocolate can easily fill a cookie craving. I'll definitely be making these again, but I'll probably throw in some chopped walnuts.

The cookies were ok...by that I mean I liked them but my kids didn't. They reminded me of a "no bake" cookie just not sweet. That is what the kids didn't like. I found them taste with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning.
