This was my 1st smoothie ever and it was great. I substituted stevia for honey, used organic OJ, Organic plain yogurt, and 1 Tbsp of vanilla flavoring. Tomorrow, am going to try it with a handful of spinach or kale added.

I am not a big fan of "make at home" smoothies. I'm not really a fan of smoothies at all. But, this one sounded a little different, and I thought I'd give it a try. WOW! I made one for breakfast, and it was fantastic. I did make some changes: I used Total 0%, which is a greek yogurt made with skim milk. Greek yogurt has no sugar, and is thicker than the American version. It also has more protein and less carbohydrates (19 carbs in the 6 ounce american yogurt versus 6 carbs in the 5 ounce greek version). I also swapped the orange juice for skim milk. But, very good, and really simple since I can buy the frozen fruit pre-cut at the store!
