12 ounces lean ground turkey
3 ounces ground pork
1 teaspoon dried sage 
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed, lightly toasted 
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder* 
1/2 teaspoon onion powder* 
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano 
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
Nonstick olive oil spray
1  In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except olive oil spray. Form the mixture into six 3- to 4-inch diameter patties. Lightly coat a 12-inch nonstick skillet with olive oil spray and heat the pan over medium heat. Brown the patties on both sides, about 4 minutes per side, until cooked through. Serve hot.
2  * You can substitute 4 fresh garlic cloves, minced, for the garlic powder and 1/3 cup finely diced yellow onion for the onion powder.
