Hi!!  I totally agree with you.  I love watching the Biggest Loser and have finally (hopefully a permanent change this time) started eating healthier foods for my body.  I too am disabled and have many health issues, so I can't do true cardio workouts.  I would love to see a season of BL with disabled contestants!  I have been searching for some kind of activity I can do!  Right now I'm just focusing on changing my eating habits to be healthier.. then will have to rely on physical therapy to help me with the rest...

I would like to see a season with people with some disabilities too. I have back, hand and leg problems. I cannot do the workouts they put the contestants through. It would be helpful to see people like ourselves go on the show and workout and lose wt too. I have Spinal Stenosis, osteoarthritis everywhere I have not been able to walk any distance in years and experience pain daily.

You could order some DVD's from Sit and Be Fit.  Just type in Sit and Be Fit.org.  Season 9 looks like it would be the best one for you.  Good luck.

There are videos also with using resistant bands. Even Wii got an active trainer program using those. I still use the ones from physical therapy to stretch. I was in a wheel chair (still use it from time to time) and could only use the bands and getting into the pool. Talk to your physical therapist. There are some great exercises that can be done. I used them for 2 years until I could do them on my own. Hang in there.
