My husband just found out that he is low diabetic, metabolic syndrome, and has food allergies in dairy; eggs; sugars; yeasts; wheat & rye...I also deal with the metabolic syndrome and food allergies...need some recipies that reflect all of these things...can anyone help me???

    RE: Help!!!

I know that this must sound very difficult, but I promise it's really not!  There are plenty of recipes that do not have these things.  FYI - I'm allergic to dairy as well (from cows), but have no problem at all with goat dairy, so I still enjoy goats milk, feta cheese, etc.!

http://www.eatbetteramerica.com/recipes/30-minutes-or-less/feta-topped-chicken.aspx  This is one of my favorite recipes, which does have the feta cheese.  You could do it with, or without, the feta.  It's still delicious.

Anyway, your main concern is to simply cut out bread.  My suggestion would be to try to learn new recipes, rather than trying to change (or use ones that have already been altered) existing ones.
