I had bariatric gastric bypass surgery 9 months ago, and have started having trouble staying "with the program".  I haven't been doing my walking and have gone back to my old habit of "grazing".  I haven't had anyone to talk to about any of this, (there is a support group, but only once a month).  If there is anyone else out there needing someone to talk to about similar problems, please post a note & I'll be watching for it.

    Hello nfrede1,

My name is Teena and I have not had any surgery but I have started a diet on monday and by thursday I quit because I have never been able to stay on a diet.  It's a good program but I have absolutly no will power and I still have to cook for the rest of my family (hubby and 3 kids) so I smell the food that I cook for them and just can't help myself to a taste here and there.  Which all add up at the end of the day, so I completly understand where you are.  By the way congraulations on the surgery, it's a bid dicision and one that I know can work, I have several friends that had it done and they did loose weight.

I know that I'm responding to your post a long time after you put it on here but I just joined today and was looking around and found you, maybe we can help each other. I'll keep checking back to see if you respond.  If not good luck and God bless.

    Teena
