Healthy Home Cooking

January is traditionally the month that we all start thinking of healthier lifestyles. With that in mind, there’s a new magazine publication to watch for. Healthy Home Cooking is on the newsstand early January and is full of tasty recipes from the editors of eatbetteramerica.com. Our recipe developers created this collection of flavorful, family-friendly recipes that we believe will leave you feeling nourished and energized in the New Year.

Eating healthier shouldn’t be about deprivation; it should be about informed choices and delicious satisfying food. This thought is what spurred us on to create this fabulous magazine. Paging through the magazine, I am inspired by the wealth of information that is included. Not only is there a fabulous selection of recipes from mouthwatering main dishes to tasty sides and guilt-free desserts, but there are also 175 tips to eat better. Plus, if you are looking for low calorie meals, there are 60 recipes with 300 calories or less to help you out.

My favorite part of the magazine is the special section of “healthified” recipes. These recipes were developed to be better-for-you than their originals might have been – but they are just as yummy and satisfying. I’ve made many of these in my own kitchen and can attest to their deliciousness! Special favorites of mine include the Lasagna that is on the cover (yum), Stuffed Chicken Parmesan and Zucchini Bread. You’ll also discover some of our secrets for “healthifying” recipes to help you lighten some of your own favorites.

I am excited about this magazine that is chock-full of inspiring information and plan to have it in my personal library for a long time – hope you will too.

Just got this magazine at Wal-Mart and I love it. Looked to see if there was a way to subscribe to it but, wasn't found and, I rarely subscribe to magazines. Hope you will make it available in the future for a subscription. Nancy

Enjoy the recipes because I'm trying to get away from processed foods as much as I can. I know cooking from almost scratch is time consuming but isn't my health and the health o my family worth it.

I too would like to subscribe to this magazine. It is nice to have the nutritional facts right on the page. Somethings you think are light and healthy actually are not what you think. I wish all cooking magazines would add this to the recipe. Anyway to find out how to subscribe. This is one of the best cooking magazines on the news stands! Way to go Betty Crocker!!!!!
