Rita F. Redberg

Rita F. Redberg is professor of medicine in the division of cardiology at University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, and director of Cardiovascular Women’s Services for the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health. Dr. Redberg chairs the Choose to Move Science Advisory Group for the American Heart Association Heart Disease in Women program. She directs an American College of Cardiology Extramural Program on Heart Disease in Women. Dr. Redberg started an American Heart Association Committee on Women in Cardiology, and serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Womenheart. Dr. Redberg is also on the editorial board for several journals and is a manuscript reviewer for many more.
