Hi Everyone!

I'm new to this web site and was wondering about some advice how to be consistent in providing my family with healthy, but hearty meals each night. I at times I get in a rut on fixing dinners, i know it's easier to eat out, but not on our wallets and budgets. Any suggestions, it would be appreciated. Thanks, J

"Forced Exercise" Parking further away from place of work

As part of my plan for a healthier heart, this week I parked my car 10 minutes away from my place of work. My "forced exercise" gives me 10 minutes in the morning of crisp winter air and helps me unwind after work!

Newbie Here!

HI EVERYONE!

I'M NEW HERE TO THE BOARDS, BUT NOT TO LOSING WEIGHT. I QUIT SMOKING 3YRS AGO AND GAINED 50LBS. I HAVEN'T HAD THE MOTIVATION OR THE WILL POWER TO GET THE WEIGHT OFF AND KEEP IT OFF.

I'M TIRED OF ALWAYS BEING TIRED! SINCE GAINING THE WEIGHT I'M NOT AS HAPPY AS I USE TO BE, I DON'T KEEP UP WITH MY APPEARANCE. I WEAR THE SAME 5 OUTFITS, BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE FITS AND I DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY ON NEW "FAT CLOTHES".

WHEN I WAS LIGHTER/HEALTHER I JUST FELT BETTER ABOUT MYSELF AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN GENERAL. I WANT THAT FEELING BACK! I WANT TO BE HAPPY! I WANT TO LAUGH! I WANT TO LIVE!

I'M GOING TO TRY VERY HARD TO GET HEALTHY! IF ANYONE HAS ANY TIPS OR SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL & A GOOD LIFE!

Grandmas with heart disease

Am wondering how many are members with already heart disease??? I am 55 and had a quadruple bypass surgery April 1,2005. I only wish I would have been taught a better way of eating when I was young. I got to learn the hard way. I also quit smoking on Jan 2,2005 3 months before I knew I had anything wrong with my heart, just felt so bad I figured it must be because I smoked for 30 years. I read every label befroe I buy anything. I never bring home junk food as hubby also had open heart surgery in 2000. He has th in-herited bad cholestral thing. I have never had a weight problem and could eat everything and never gain a pound, which is nice but it plugged up the pipes too. Please take this serious, when you are faced with a possible early death, it really isnt a fun thing. I havent figured out why I treated my body so cruely all those years but my Dr told me he turned back the hands of time for me when I awoke after heart surgery and from then on I vowed to live a healthy life. I also have osteoarthritis in both hips so walking isnt something I can do so I must watch my diet closely. I plan to get the next 50 years right! Blessing to those who are trying, it really is worth it.

package sizing

I would like to suggest to the company to make larger or more quantity packaging for Fiber One snack bars. I buy them every week at my grocery store, but there are only five in a package. I would like to buy multi-packs or have them sold at one of our warehouse facilities in a larger quantity. We are members of Costco and BJ's Wholesale which would be an ideal store to purchase such a delicious and nutritious way of getting fiber and snack at the same time. Everyone in my family eats them and we get one at a time and then have to purchase again. I will not spend the high price of a single box numerous times as I would on a multi or larger quantity to keep the price down a little. We go through them too fast for that. Please take this message seriously and let the head of consumer products know this would be a good thing to bring to the public.

Thank you for your attention to this request.

Sincerely,

Kari
