Yummy Mushrooms!
This recipe is fabulous. I used shitake and baby bella mushrooms and it was divine. Very filling and satisfying!

Delicious
I used dehydrated shiitake mushrooms for added texture. It works better if you soak them for a few minutes before adding to the saute. I also added a little splash of white wine to the saute before adding the parsley. It turned out very well.

Good stuff!
This pizza scared me at first but it came out great. Even though it does not have a sauce per say it is still moist and delicious. I used oyster mushrooms and they worked great. I would go light on the parsley but that is just my taste. I also added pepper flakes and salt for a little kick. Yummy~!

Y-U-M-M-O!!!
I thought this was a DELICIOUS meal! I added pine nut and fresh chopped spinach to the sauté mix. I also think feta cheese would be good, but I haven't tried it. As a kid, we used to make mini pizzas on english muffins, which is what i decided to do here...it worked perfectly!

mushroom pizza
I've found that when shopping for this recipe, it is very important to actually buy the wild mushrooms.
I thought that they were a little expensive at our grocery store, so I bought a different kind, and wow... it did not work!
I also thought that the onions made the pizza far too soggy, and the parsley was way overpowering.
I'd also recommend crushed red pepper in this recipe, just to add some well needed kick.
