Embellish an already fantastic dinner with this simply sensational salad. From eatbetteramerica.

makes:8 servings
Vinaigrette
1/4cup dry sherry or apple juice
2tablespoons raspberry, balsamic or red wine vinegar
1tablespoon sugar
1teaspoon dark sesame oil
Salad
8cups bite-size pieces mixed salad greens
1medium pear, thinly sliced
1cup sliced strawberries
1small red onion, thinly sliced
1/4cup finely crumbled blue cheese (1 oz)
1.In tightly covered container, shake all vinaigrette ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
2.On 8 salad plates, arrange salad greens, pear, strawberries and onion. Pour vinaigrette over salads. Sprinkle with cheese.
