Yum!
Who knew there was such a thing as healthified cream cheese brownies? These tasted just as good as a non-healthy version. I would definitely make these again.

nutrition info???
I am wondering if anyone knows which item was used to prepare this recipe for the calories listes? Oil or applesauce? My guess is applesauce but I want to be sure before making them.
Thanks!!!

Cream Cheese Brownies
Very disappointed. The photo looked so good - very bland - would not make these again nor would I serve to guests.

Could you use fat free cream cheese and splenda for the sugar?

Healthfied cream cheese brownies
Amazing that anything that tastes so good could be so simple and healthy! I send these to my grandson stationed in South Korea

Okay...
These brownies were okay, but the filling definitely tasted better before it was cooked. I made a Cream Cheese Brownie recipe with Betty Crocker, and those were much better because the brownie batter went first, then the cream cheese filling, and then another coat of brownie batter. I will probably not make these brownies again, but the brownies were good - just not the cream cheese part.

Pretty Yummy!
The less egg you add the less cake like they will be. Use half the egg if you want a chewy brownie texture. I love cake and brownies. These were great.

Yum!!
I made these brownies twice and both times, they turned out great! I baked them for 30 minutes the first time and they were cake-like...27 minutes and they were fudgy, just the way I like them! My sister and I both thought these were delicious, especially warmed in the microwave for about 10 seconds before devouring!! =)

Delicious!
These brownies are appealing in so many ways! Not only am I getting tons of chocolate (and I love chocolate), but I also love the crunch associated with the chips. Plus, we already use lite cream cheese anyways so it is easy for us to love this recipe! I would most certainly make it again!

i've had better
I really wanted to like this brownie recipe, but, alas, they didn't measure up to my expectations. It took longer to bake and I finally took them out of oven even tho the toothpick test failed, fearing I had baked them too long. While trying to cut them, the cheesecake top kept separating from the brownie bottom. After a day, they were not fudgy, just mushy. Do a search on Cooking Light's website for brownies, they have better looking/tasting ones.

Too Cakey...
These were good, but they had more of a cakey consistencey instead of a gooey brownie... not a fan at home.

Great Treat
These were a hit in my family. Even my chocolate loving son-inlaw approved. The Chocolate chips added just the right amount of crunch.

For Halloween
These were pretty darn good. I colored the cream cheese orange for a Halloween treat. I especially liked the crunch added by the chips.

yuck
these did not turn out well. the cream cheese did not stick to the brownie, so fell off each piece as you picked it up! also, I could not get the brownie part done, as it ended up, the middle of the pan was underdone, just gooey, and the sides were burnt.
oh well, i'm gonna look for a better "healthy" brownie recipe.

Cures chocolate craving!
I assisted my 13-year-old daughter in making these. We used BC's low fat brownie mix and fat free cream cheese. Everyone who ate them said they were delicious. No one could taste they were "healthified". My daughter wants to become a pastry chef. Therefore, I recently started her a dessert recipe book. She insisted I print out a second copy of this recipe for her book. This is one recipe we'll be making over and over again.

Absolutely delicious!
This recipe for Cream Cheese Brownies was easy to follow and came out just as described. The brownies are moist and tasty. I used canola oil. I don't think that anyone would notice a difference. As a matter of fact, my husband said that I didn't need to tell him that they were reduced fat! The brownies are cake-like, and the cream cheese layer has cheesecake consistency. This recipe is a definate keeper!
