Loved it!
This was delicious - I doubled the recipe and was able to have it a couple of nights...I used the same amount of spinach though and instead of the ricotta cheese I used a 4 cheese Italian blend. Also, I used Jenny-O Italian seasoned ground turkey which gave it some excellent spice.

Easier than expected!
While this sounded delicious, I really wasn't certain about pulling it off. I have never tried to stuff any kind of pasta with fresh ingredients before. The only downside was some of the manicotti shells had small splits in them, when they cooked. The splits survived stuffing, but after baking, they fell apart when trying to lift them from the baking dish to serve. Obviously, that is NOT a flaw with the recipe. I have saved this and will definitely make it again. Very tasty!

DELICIOUS
The hardest part about this recipe is stuffing the shells but once you get a little rythm going on the time just flies right on by. It says that it takes 50 minutes start to finish, it took me 62 the first time and 45 the second time, the only reason the first time took so much longer was mostly reading the recipe.I LOVE this recipe and will definitely make it again! :)

Bit messy and bland
It was a little messy to make and prep time was much longer than 30 min. Maybe it was just me because I was a newbie. My family and I enjoyed the dish after I made a few adjustments. Knowing how bland ground turkey can be compared to ground beef, I sauted the onions/garlic and finely cut green peppers added just a very small pat of butter, and a couple drops of olive oil, cooked the turkey. The cheese mixture, I used egg white and mxed mild chedder (shredded), cream cheese and parmeasan together before adding it to the meat. Added some Italian spices and it tasted wonderful!!!
I cannot speak for the original recipe as I made adjustments to it initially.
The original recipe is a good base to start with but I recommend NOT following it line by line.
I will probably make it again using my modifications and NOT on a busy school night.

Disappointed
I absolutely love manicotti and was very excited to try this healthy version. I ended up very disappointed with the outcome. The dish was very very bland, missing so much that makes manicotti delicious. My girls both ended up eating cheerios for dinner instead and I threw the rest out:(

Not nearly as good as some reviews state...
This turned out to be exceptionally bland, even with the extra spices and sauce I used. I agree that it needs perhaps turkey sausage or something like that - maybe even more spices than I used. Just not very good.

BOOOORING!
I read all the postive reviews after I made this (and dumped half of it) - if I were to try it again I would use sausage plus some combination of spices to give it some zip. The original recipe has way too much spinach and it is absolutely tasteless. I used store brand chopped spinach and had to cook it much longer than the recipe called for to get it hot - but then it didn't hold the heat very long.

This was really tasty, but could use a little more flavor. Some lean turkey sausage would perfect it, but everyone in my family still enjoyed this one.

Excellent & simple
This dish was easy to make and very inexpensive. My husband and sister-in-law were huge fans. I suggest Newman's Own marinara. It really made a big impact.

Excelent!
I love this recipe! the best part about it is that my kids love it too, and they eat thier spinach with out any problems. I am not a big spinach eater either, but in this recipe it tastes soooo good. I have made it with ground chicken too, we like it both ways! A+++++!

try it with turkey italian sausage
I made this for my family last night, they loved it.
I do not like plain ground turkey, so I tried it with Turkey 'HOT' italian sausage, it was delicious. I will make this again!!

Great Dish
This dish was really good, I'm not a big fan of turkey, so I substituted for ground beef, extremely lean one, and I used light pasta sauce, everyone loved it, I will make this again

This turned out great! I didn't have manicotti shells so I actually made it like lasagna with all the same ingredients and it was really good.

Not my favorite dish, but my husband LOVED it. It is super simple to make, which is a plus. I'll definitely be making it again, but will probably look for some healthy ways to spice it up a bit.

Delicious Italian Dish
Great recipe! I make stuffed shells, and everyone loves them, but I hadn't made manicotti before. These turned out to be just as yummy, but healthier. For some reason I had a good bit of the turkey mixture left, so I ended up cooking a few more manicotti quick, and then I thought it needed more sauce, so I added a can of Italian-style diced tomatoes. I will definitely make these again... probably a double batch next time so there are more leftovers.

Different Taste
Now this was very interesting.. but I liked it.. my husband actually enjoyed it more than I did. The spinach really kicks it up a notch, but I will keep it in my recipe book.

Really Yummy
I tried this last night but did some things different. I doubled the recipe except for the spinach and added mushrooms. I also added Mozzarella on top with the parmesan. My family liked it better than Lasagna even my picky son ate it. It is a little time consuming but tastes great!!!
