Banana Nut Cheerios® cereal and peanut butter stir up into an easy no-bake snack bar. From eatbetteramerica.

makes:24 bars

4cups Banana Nut Cheerios® cereal
1cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/3cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/3cup roasted unsalted sunflower nuts
1/2cup light corn syrup
1/4cup packed brown sugar
1/4cup creamy peanut butter
1teaspoon vanilla
1.Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix cereal, cranberries, almonds and sunflower nuts.
2.In 2-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, brown sugar and peanut butter to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
3.Pour syrup mixture over cereal mixture; toss to coat. Press firmly in pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

all i can say is super yuuummm. the perfect grab n go snack. i made a few pans, wrapped individual bars in foil and placed in a bowl in the kitchen to grab as we r running out the door for swim lessons! it holds us over until we get home and i don't feel guilty for eating them like i do a candy bar. :)
