Savory Turkey Burgers with Garlicky Mayonnaise

Savory Turkey Burgers with Garlicky Mayonnaise
Recipe Tip
Iron is Important
Turkey and other protein is a source of iron. Iron helps build red blood cells to carry oxygen through the body.
Health Twist
Some hamburger buns are enormous. Look for smaller whole wheat hamburger buns and save some calories.
Did You Know?
No time to heat the grill? Opt for broiling the burgers instead of grilling.

a bit odd
This is okay, but there are much better turkey burger recipes on this website. The combination of spices in the burgers leave them tasting a bit odd. I tried it without the mayonnaise sauce, and it was much better.

Delicious
We loved these burgers and the sause was a wonderful surprise. We put the burgers in pita bread with the sauce and shredded lettuce and fresh tomato. Wonderful light springy sandwich.

Great dinner
I tried these out tonight for dinner and even my husband thought they were great...I added a little more seasoning and used worchester sauce instead of soy sauce and they had a really good flavor...we will for sure be making these at least twice a month.

Really Good!
I subsituted the soy sauce for worshestire sauce, and I was out of onions so I added a little bit of chopped garlic instead. If the mixture is too wet, just add a little bit of extra oats. For the salt free seasoning, I used the spicy Mrs. Dash which didn't make it hot but gave it a nice flavor.

Good but bland
I made these for the first time on saturday and I have to say they were pretty good. I live on my own and needed something healthy and quick and these did the trick. I made them on my george foreman grill! I left off the mayo but the burgers where still pretty good. They could have used a little more seasoning but where definitely a hit! I also might recommend using Dales sauce or Worcestershire sauce instead of Soy sauce. Soy sauce, the light kind, has 650mg of Sodium whereas Worcestershire only has 65mg of Sodium.

Wow!
So I made these burgers for my very picky family last night and it was it hit. Some variations to the recipe were: 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes or powder (this won't make it too spicy, my 4 year old could eat it) 1/2 teaspoon of Chicago steak seasoning 1/4 teaspoon on kosher salt We've added this healthy turkey burger to our monthly menu!

Would have liked a little more flavor in the turkey burger itself.
