Fruit and Nut Cereal Bars

Fruit and Nut Cereal Bars
Recipe Tip
Savory Sunflower Seeds
Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats from nuts and seeds may help lower blood cholesterol. But fats are high in calories so keep portions small.
Substitution
Get creative and replace the dried fruit and nuts with different flavors. Try dried cranberries with pistachios or dried apricots with almonds.

Fruit and Nut Cereal Bars
I tried these as an alternative to store bought bars. They were a huge hit. They are so tasty. I would add just a touch more peanut butter (cause I like it) but these are easy, very tasty and so so delicious. A hit at the office

Fabulous!
I just made these bars as a snack for my husband and myself, and they are delicious! Not only are they filling, but they are chewy and crunchy, sweet and salty. A great find!

Awesome!
I love this snack! One suggestion - spread into a bigger pan so the pieces are not as big and are more managable for little ones. Other than that, I love! Any suggestions out there for a substition for corn syrup???

Curbs the sweet tooth...
Super easy and a million ways to put this all together. I just made a batch with dried blueberries, cherries, apricots and pine nuts! But use the Curves Whole Grain Cereal instead of the Honey. There is plenty of sweetness with the dried fruit and brown sugar, and it saves a whopping 370 calories!
