Enjoy a wedge of chocolate pie without the guilt! The creamy filling and hint of banana is sure to please. From eatbetteramerica.

Start to Finish:2 hr 15 min
makes:8 servings
1large banana, sliced
1reduced-fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz)
2cups fat-free (skim) milk
1container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free French vanilla yogurt
1box (6-serving size) chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
1/2cup reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed
Additional banana slices, if desired
Chocolate shavings, if desired
1.Arrange banana slices over bottom of crust; set aside.
2.In medium bowl, beat milk, yogurt and pudding mix with electric mixer on low speed 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth and thickened. Pour over banana slices in crust. Refrigerate about 2 hours, until set.
3.To serve, top each serving with 1 tablespoon whipped topping. Garnish with additional banana slices and chocolate shavings.

This was good and sooo easy! I have made it several times since. It satisfies the chocolate craving without the guilt!

Chocolate Banana Cream Pie
If you want this (or other similar pies) to set up more firmly, use only 1-2/3 c. of milk. The sugar- & fat-free puddings work well also.

this was delish and very easy to make ,,,I found it hard to believe that it would taste as good as the banana cream pie I used to get from my local diner,but it is better for me and tastes great , I substituted the french vanilla yoplait with the vanilla yogurt I already had and it worked out perfectly

Pudding question
Why does this not use the fat-free, sugar-free pudding mix. Will it not set up properly? And I wish there were a way to submit questions and discussion without having to make a rating!

Very Tasty
I made this for dessert last night and everyone enjoyed it very much. You would never have guessed it was lowfat. I used 2% milk rather than the skim as that's what I had, didn't set up as firm as I would have liked but the taste was excellent. Who doesn't like chocolate and bananas? Thanks
