This rocks!
I make a very similar salsa, however I do use the white vidalia variety of onion. I also make it really pretty by adding some yellow and orange peppers. If you have a vidalia onion chopper.. it works great 'cause then everything is chopped tiny and even...Looks too good to eat. Try other hot peppers besides jalepeno for a treat.. but beware.. might want to serve it with sour cream/plain yogurt as a compliment. YUM!! This is also good put on tilapia when baking in foil. Try it!

Cumin ?
Maybe if your salsas w/Scotch Bonnet or cayenne.....Or you just make it really hot! Cumin is a peaty strong flavor......... and Lemon is going to make it taste like the salsa ingredients in Ceviche (not necessarily bad at all). I've tried all these ways......this is just my 2 cents.

try this instead
try using a small red or white onion chopped instead of the green onions. that is what my family uses most of the time. and leave one tomato unseeded so there is a bit of juice to help the flavors meld together.

Missing something....
I make fresh salsa all the time & see the missing ingredients here! Try adding 1/4 tsp. black pepper, and 1 T. cumin (THE secret ingredient to great salsa). Also, I recommend NOT seeding the tomatoes - keep all the juice in the salsa if possible, and try it with lemon juice instead of lime. Lime is better if being served with fajitas, but lemon is usually best.
