A Smarter Bedtime Snack

Are you an after-dinner snacker? Trade your usual goodies for a 1-cup bowl of ready-to-eat cereal with low-fat milk (2/3 cup). In a study at Wayne State University, in Detroit, researchers found that folks who had this healthy snack 90 minutes after dinner lost more weight than those who noshed randomly. (Best bet: cereal with at least 3 grams of fiber per serving.)
