A recent study shows that even a modest increase in movement can offer positive cardio results. Research published in the
Journal of the American Medical Association found that postmenopausal women who were sedentary and overweight or obese experienced a "significant improvement in fitness"—even if they exercised at a moderate intensity for just 72 minutes a week. The study also found that those fitness benefits increased as the amount of workout time increased, proving that, when it comes to exercise, more is definitely better—and any is better than none!
