Neal Pire, MA, CSCS, is the director of the Sports Training Academy in Bergen County, New Jersey. He writes the monthly Health Section for Manhattan Living magazine, has served as author and associate editor for the American College of Sports Medicine's Resources for the Personal Trainer Manual, second edition and is author of Plyometrics for Explosive Speed and Power (Ulysses Press, 2006). Pire regularly addresses professional, medical, and community groups, motivating and educating people to enhance their health and lives by living an active lifestyle.
